Forex trading is the exchange of foreign currency - with the ever declining United States dollar it is becoming a popular investment for people to get into. The only problems is that forex is such a fast and trading market place - it is easy to loose thousands or more within a matter of minutes.
The way that companies are now making up for people not wanting to take the risk themselves - which usually calls for someone to sit in front of a computer all day watching the world dollar market - automated trading or computer EA's as they are called. This basically has the computer watch for trends and automatically trade as it sees a profit or before it gets hit with a loss.

The scam comes in here - there are a lot of companies that sell forex EA's each one claiming that it can make you a lot of money in little or no time. But have we ever heard of anyone getting rich of of these EA's? If making money was this simple don't you think the entire world would be trading forex as their main source of investments? The programs to not work that way - usually only 5% of people make money trading forex - and they make that money off of the other 95% who are trading. This makes the market very cut throat.
So if you are thinking of getting into forex as a way of an investment for your retirement then please think again - it is a very dangerous market and you are much better off dealing with a mutual fund or an IRA.
